Georgie commenced as Carer Advocate in September 2026, whilst completing her final social work placement. She is passionate about supporting children, young people and families and has a particular interest in child protection and out-of-home care.
Having previously completed a placement with the Department for Child Protection in a Guardianship team, Georgie has developed a strong appreciation for the important role foster and kinship carers play in providing children with safety, stability, connection and care.
Georgie feels privileged to work alongside carers and learn from their experiences and is committed to bringing a warm, compassionate and respectful approach to her work, ensuring carers feel heard, valued and supported.
